UIU Electrical & Electronic Club (UIUEEC) works with the motto “Innovation and excellence to asymptote”. UIUEEC is the first engineering students' club of United International University. It started its journey in February, 2013. Formerly known as the 'Science and Engineering Club', UIUEEC is closely affiliated with the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of the university. This club is active with different events like seminars, workshops, study tours, competitions, and exhibitions, etc.
The Centre for Energy Research (CER) was established in September, 2010 in United International University under the department of EEE. The aim of the CER is to enhance research in the fields of renewable and sustainable energy, its utilization and efficient management, and policy formulation through research and development.
In order to train our students properly for the job market, UIU introduced specialized VLSI design courses with support tool like Cadence. UIU purchased Cadence tool suite for Tk. 2.2 M for three years’ license and encouraged widespread usage of this tool to generate the future skilled workforce for VLSI design industries.
We aim to provide quality education & on hand practical training to equip the graduates of EEE to face technological challenges of the 21st century, and to develop students in learning ethics, professional conduct, critical thinking and working in a group.
