Workshop on Image Processing Fundamentals in MATLAB

Objective: Image processing is widely used as a deep learning method in medical image processing,
face detection, pattern recognition and so on. As a result, it is a highly valued skill in today’s research
fields. This introductory workshop will assist beginners in learning the fundamentals and core
concepts
Eligibility :

 Members should be current students of UIU to participate in this competition.
 Participants should have completed the Simulation Laboratory course.
 Team Forma􀆟on: Maximum Two Members per team.
Rules:

 Participants must bring their Student ID Card and confirmation of registration.
 Participants cannot use resources such as books, articles, YouTube, online tools, AI etc.
 During the competition participants are not allowed to leave the room and communicate with
anyone outside their own team.
 Participants cannot use their personal devices (such as a mobile phone).

Competition Date: 9th November 2024.
Workshop from 2 PM to 4.30 PM

Competition from 5 PM to 6 PM.
Room No: 531- Computer Lab

Participation Fee: 150 (Per Person)
