EEE Project Show — Spring 2025
August 20, 2025On 4 August 2025, the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at United International University, supported by the UIU Electrical & Electronic Club (UIUEEC), successfully hosted the EEE Project Show — Spring 2025 at the UIU campus in Dhaka. The one-day exhibition provided a professional platform for undergraduate students to present their semester-long projects, demonstrating practical skills, engineering rigor, and creative problem-solving across hardware and software domains.
The event featured three competitive categories — Software Group, Senior Group, and Junior Group — enabling a broad representation of topics including embedded systems, power electronics, IoT and remote monitoring, robotics and control, AI/ML applications, and software simulation tools. Teams presented working prototypes or live demonstrations alongside concise technical documentation, and engaged with a panel of faculty judges during question-and-answer sessions.
Students displayed strong competence in translating theoretical knowledge into real-world solutions: many projects included clear problem statements, well-defined objectives, test plans, and measured performance results. Presentations emphasized not only technical design but also usability, safety, cost considerations, and potential for further development or deployment.
A distinguished faculty panel assessed each entry using a transparent rubric that rewarded innovation, technical depth, demonstration quality, documentation, and presentation skills. UIUEEC volunteers handled logistics, registration, and on-site coordination, ensuring smooth setup and timekeeping. The result was a professionally run showcase that celebrated student initiative, fostered peer learning, and highlighted the EEE department’s commitment to hands-on, application-driven engineering education.
