The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at UIU, in collaboration with the UIUEEC, successfully launched the Professional VLSI Training program on July 23rd, 2023, at 3:00 PM. The inauguration ceremony marked the beginning of the first training course, IC Layout Design, aimed at developing skilled VLSI engineers to address the growing demand in local and international industries. The program received generous sponsorships of Tk 45 lacs from local semiconductor companies, including Neural, Ulkasemi, and DSI.
