Advising (Time & Section Selection): Fall 2023 Trimester

(Students up to 232 Batch)                                                                                                                  Students admitted in Fall 2023 do not require Course advising.

It will be done by the Department.

This is to inform all students of EEE Program (students up to 232 Batch) that Course Advising for FALL 2023 Trimester will continue from August 27, 2023 (Sunday) to August 30, 2023 (Wednesday).

Students are required to complete advising through UCAM.

In case of any difficulties, students are asked to contact the department from 9.30 AM–4.00 PM on those days.

Please be remembered:

-The Students who have completed Pre-Advising are asked to select their sections/time on due date.

-The Students who have not completed Pre-Advising yet are asked to contact their Advisors.

-The Students who will fail to do course evaluation; they will not able to do course advising

-Before taking course, students must check class/exam routine to avoid conflicts.

-No section change/Course drop request will be allowed.

-Trimester Drop students are asked to contact the Exam Controller Office for ID activation,

Room # 103(1^st floor, North West corner of the building)

-Credit Transfer/Course Waiver students are advised to contact EEE Dept. Room # 512 (5^th floor)

-For any technical problem, please contact the CITS Department, Room # 525 (5^th floor)

–For batch 183 and onwards: Elective course (17.00 Credits): out of 5 courses at least three (two from elective I and one from Elective II) must be taken from one group as major and two courses (one from Elective I and one from Elective II) from at least two other groups as minor.

–For batches prior to 183: Elective course (20.00 Credits): out of 6 courses at least three (two from elective I and one from Elective II) must be taken from one group as major and three courses (two from Elective I and one from Elective II) from at least two other groups as minor.

Instructions for Course-Advising (Section & Time Selection) in U-CAM

How to Log in?

1. Please visit uiu.ac.bd and type your Student ID and password.
2. If you forget your password or never logged in before, click ‘forget password’ link and put your Student ID there. A link to reset your password will be sent to your official email address. You can reset your password from that link.

How to do Final-advising?

1. After Login, Go to Registration > Section Selection & Registration.
2. Click “Take”button under “Section” column to select a section for the respective course.
3. To remove the selected section click on the “Remove”button under “Section Remove”
